Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall played host again to the annual Boardmasters 'Surf and etc' festival over the second weekend in August. The weather was pretty nice hot and sunny for once and the beach was pretty packed. The Boardmasters themselves actually seemed to be a lower key event than in previous years. Quite a few of the big sponsors of previous years wern't there, Radio 1 wern't there, there was no big beach televisions and the whole atmosphere was less hyped?
I went and saw the Cuban Brothers at the Fosters Beach Bar on Friday night which was pretty cool and had a good laugh there. On Saturday Cassie, Francesca and myself met up with the Tidy Boys in the hotel bar and got invited down there where Francesca proceeded to 'control' the club lighting and got told off lol! Saturday saw the first round of the Nuts Boardmasters Bikini Babes contest just a the front of the beach bar on Fistral. I think this contest was also lacking the hype of previous years sadly too. The final on Sunday which is actually in Bikini's rather than Rash vests saw some rain but the sun came out in the end thankfully. I think the winner was from Leicester but not sure what she won as there were no big cheques on the podium this year- and no champagne even she had to do with Cava.
y of stunners were out and about down in Newquay! Rosie Roff was rocking the Bikini contest again and Danni Murphy who came 3rd a few years ago did a cool shoot with us in the sea on Fistral that got a large crowd. Sexy beach blonde Lianne Dauban from Shipwreked was also down there and a real stunner. SiDoes Babes of the Beach Cassie Bardell and Francesca Crilly from Kingston, Surrey, also joined in the photoshoot and were a top laugh - some excellent fun poses. They also continued the year of pute theme excellently! ;) Also included are just random beach honeys and some of the lap dancers from Divas in Newquay lapdancing club including Emma from Spearmint Rhino in Birmingham, beach babe Rache from Truro etc. etc.. Plus lots of me too obviously! :p
